About The Artist
Martin McKenna is a freelance illustrator with a successful 15-year career. He has illustrated numerous titles on both sides of the Atlantic for Penguin Books, Oxford University Press, Harper Collins, and Hodder & Stoughton, among others. He also has a long association with the games industry, working with Games Workshop, Hasbro, Parker Games, Wizards of the Coast, and Palladium Books.
In 1995 he received the British Fantasy Award for Best Artist. He has been a development team artist with the renowned games publisher Eidos Interactive, and has been art director on a number of computer game titles for leading development studios. His latest book, published by Collins, is a lavishly-illustrated guide to creating digital fantasy art.
